Description:
A transcript of a recorded interview with Jean S. Walsh, the editor of Catonsville's local newspaper, the Catonsville Times. She was present at the scene after the burning of draft records in Catonsville on May 17, 1968.

Transcription: 
through the dressing room, the wardrobe room and up a narrow stair to the back 
of the stage.  In a hushed silence we waited in the wings for the cue that 
indicated we were to be ushered past the stage to the front of the stage and 
seated in the seats appointed for us the jury.  This we did which was a strange 
thing for me to have done but I thought it was interesting. We watched the
play from a very close angle and knowing it was Dan Berrigan's words which we 
were hearing, made it even more significant.  I thought the actors did beauti-
fully and I was impressed with the play.  But do you know at the end, I still 
wasn't sure how I would stand if I had actually been on the jury.
