A transcript of a recorded interview with Jean S. Walsh, the editor of Catonsville's local newspaper, the Catonsville Times. She was present at the scene after the burning of draft records in Catonsville on May 17, 1968.

    Reprinted in Catonsville Times in 1971

The nine who became known as the 
"Catonsville Nine" are pictured as they 
appeared on May 17, 1968, in the Wilkens 
Police Station, immediately after they were 
arrested for having burned the draft records 
at the Catonsville Draft Board. Thomas
Lewis, Baltimore artist now out of jail, is at 
left.  Next to him is Father Phillip Berrigan 
and his brother, Father Daniel Berrigan who 
wrote the play, "The Trial of the Catonsville 
Nine"
